Tony Strozyk,
82, of Badger, MN died on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the Veterans Administration
Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Tony Stanley Strozyk,
the son of Stanley & Marie (Solarz) Strozyk, was born July 6, 1928 in St. Wendell Township,
Stearns County, near St. Joseph, MN. He
grew up and attended school there. He
served in the US Army and married Phyllis Solem while
serving in the military. He worked on the Iron Range of Minnesota and in the
Twin Cities area, settling in Roseau County in about 1971 where he did
carpenter work for several years. Tony
loved to visit. He was a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Daughters—Janet Emery and
Joyce (Lavern) Emery of Greenbush and Judy Morlan of
Greenbush.

Roseau, MN, Mark Emery of Greenbush, Nikki (Chris) Mellstrom
of Roseau, MN, Ryan Strozyk of Burnsville and Tony (Jesyka) Morlan of Greenbush.

He was preceded in death by his parents,
wife and granddaughter—Mary Beth Emery. 5 Brothers—Eddie Tommy, Louie, Walter & Stanley Strozyk.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held
on Friday, April 29 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Greenbush with
Father Luis Buitron, officiating. Music was provided
by Jeanne Novacek & Arlene Jenson. A.J. Pulczinksi was the reader and Steven Hlucny
was the Altar Server. Eucharistic
Ministers were Vivian and Leroy Omdahl with the
grandchildren and great-grandchildren serving as gift bearers. All of Tony’s
friends and family were considered Honorary Pallbearers. Burial was in Blessed
Sacrament Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by Moen-Zimek
Post 88, American Legion of Greenbush, with assistance from the Minnesota National Guard.
Arrangements were with Gieseke Funeral Chapel
of Greenbush.
