Rudy Blawat
Rudy Blawat, 75, of Greenbush, MN, died on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in LifeCare Medical Center at Roseau, MN.
Rudy Blawat was born on March 11, 1939 to
Floyd and Mary Blawat (Marynik) in Greenbush, MN. While growing up he attended
school in Greenbush.
In the early 60's, Rudy began farming with his dad and brothers northwest of
Greenbush. Rudy was united in marriage to Alice (Mlodzik) on February 11, 1961.
Together they began milking dairy cattle and kept the herd until 2005. When his
father retired he continued to farm with his brothers, Rafine and Floyd. In
1997 his sons joined him and together they formed R & B Farms J.V. where he
worked until his own retirement in 2009. Even after retiring he loved helping
his boys during seeding and harvest. He enjoyed raising beef cattle and going
to the livestock sales in Bagley, MN. He, also, would spend countless days ice
fishing while Alice would stay home and milk cows. He did this so he, "could
put food on the table"!
Rudy enjoyed hunting, fishing,
visiting, taking his dogs for rides in the Ranger, watching Gunsmoke, and
spending time in the family shop. Rudy was well known and liked by all. He will
always be remembered for his sense of humor and for the pranks he liked to
play.
Rudy is survived by his loving wife

(Tammy), Barbie Blawat (Bill), and Brad (Cathi) Blawat.
