He also had 34 head of cattle when he graduated. He accepted Jesus into his heart and was baptized by the Holy Spirit at Strawberry Lake, MN in 1964. Bob took an interest in carpentry while in high school and finished his bedroom in the basement of his family home. He graduated from Aneta High School in 1974 in the top 10 of his class (of 13) J. He was involved in basketball, 4-H, and band. He attended East Grand Forks AVTI in 1975 for Farm Mechanics/Management. In 1976, he worked for Preston Implement in EGF. He married Nancy Thortsen in Warroad, MN on October 16th, 1976. They had four children, Wade, Tanya, Sarah, and Tami.
