Kristi Haugtvedt

 

      Kristi Haugtvedt, 48, of Greenbush, MN, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

 

      Kristi Ruth Haugtvedt was born September 20, 1965 to parents Palmer and Delores (Schaefer) Haugtvedt in Greenbush, MN.   She grew up and attended school at Greenbush and graduated Greenbush High School, Class of 1984. She attended St. Cloud Cosmetology School.  She worked at the Turkey Processing Plant at Thief River Falls and at FineTimes in Greenbush and Paradise in Strathcona, MN.  She has been employed by The Anixter Company in Thief River Falls for the past 6 years. 

 

      Kristi’s favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting.

 

      She is survived by:  Son—Travis (Kathy) Haugtvedt of Greenbush.

Grandchildren—Emma Elizabeth Haugtvedt,  Amya Rae Haugtvedt,  Sophie Grace Asmus and Amberlee Jade Asmus.

      Her mother—Delores Haugtvedt of Greenbush.

      Brothers & Sister—Paul (Vicki) Haugtvedt of Buchs, Switzerland.

            Ann (Michael) Patenaude of Dayton, Ohio,

            Kevin (Tami) Haugtvedt of Phoenix, AZ  and

            Dave (Angela) Haugtvedt of Peoria, AZ.

      Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

      and Boyfriend—Troy Rolland of St. Hilaire, MN.

 

      She was preceded in death by her father—Palmer Haugtvedt in 2000, and brothers James, Calvin, Richard and sister Martha.

 

      Funeral Services were held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10 AM in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush with Pastor Mark Mathews, officiating.  Linda Sovde was the organist.  Casket Bearers were Travis Haugtvedt, Aaron & Alan Gregerson, Mike Mugaas, Johnny Linder & Jordan Stone.

 

      Interment was in East Bethlehem Cemetery, rural Greenbush with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush in charge of arrangements.
