Jill Gross, 61, of Greenbush, MN, died on Saturday morning, October 25, 2014 at her home.
Jill Gross was born Jill Barbara Brinkman, the daughter of Gerald and Norma (Weaver) Brinkman, on November 5, 1952 in Greenbush, MN.
She grew up and attended Greenbush School and graduated from Greenbush High School, Class of 1970.
She married Michael Gross on June 19, 1976 at Greenbush. They lived at rural Greenbush and Jill worked for Polaris Industries in Roseau, MN for 34 years.
Jill enjoyed gardening, pottery, auctions and rummage sales, and she especially enjoyed her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Mike.
3 daughters—Carmen (Kent) Holmes of Thief River Falls, MN, Jessica (Paul) Gumeringer of Roseau, Meggan (Michael) Brandon of Middle River, MN and 1 son—Erik Gross of Greenbush.
9 grandchildren—Mayson, Talen, McCash, Sullivan, Sawyer, Sarah, Tana, Jaci & Cody.
Her mother—Norma Brinkman of Greenbush.
Sisters—Luci Schueller of Winona, MN & Judy (Gary) Bronson of Lake Bronson, MN.
She was preceded in death by their son—Joshua Gross in 1999 and her father—Gerald Brinkman in 2001.
Mom died on Saturday morning, October 25, 2014 at her home at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 20 days, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She never gave up.
Funeral Services were held on
Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Oiland
Lutheran Church of rural Greenbush with Pastor LeRoy Flickinger, officiating.
Donna Graff was the organist.
Casket Bearers were Paul Gumeringer, Rocky & Mayson
Holmes, Scott & Michael Branden and Kent Dokkin.
Burial was in Oiland
Lutheran Cemetery with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of
Greenbush in charge of funeral arrangements.
