
Allison Frislie
Allison Frislie, 77, of Badger, MN, died on Monday, April 26, 2010 in
the Karlstad Healthcare Center at Karlstad, MN.
Allison Grant Frislie, the son of John
Christian and Elene (Nelson) Frislie, was born February 28, 1933 in Soler
Township, Roseau County, rural Greenbush, MN.
He grew up and attended the Island Home country school near his home.
He married Mildred Vacura on
August 15, 1953 at Middle River, MN.
They farmed the home farm in Soler Township until moving to Scobey,
Montana where they farmed. They later
lived at Wolf Point, Montana where Allison was in the gas station business and
then the trucking business. In 1972 they
returned to Minnesota where Allison continued in the trucking industry and also
was involved in land clearing and farming.
Allison was a member of Oiland Lutheran
Church and the Roseau Eagles Club. He
enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, reading westerns, spending time with their
children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren and he enjoyed dancing.
He is survived by his wife—Mildred.

He was preceded in death by his
parents and daughter—Christie Marie Bentow & brother-in-law—Gerald
Brinkman.
Funeral services were held on Friday,
April 30, 2010 in Oiland Lutheran Church of rural Greenbush with Pastor Jim
Christenson, officiating. Lynn Balstad
was the pianist and special vocal music was provided by Layton & Delphin
Wahl & Nikki Wojchowski. The
pallbearers were Anthony & John Frislie, Chad Przekwas, Grant Trangsrud,
Adam & Aric Bentow. Honorary
Pallbearers were all of Allison’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Oiland Cemetery with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush
in charge of arrangements.
